Description
The DLSewerLateralUpdateRules command updates the lateral rules for a lateral pipe. This allows a change to the lateral pipe rules.
Usage
Type DLSewerLateralUpdateRules at the command line. You will then see a dialog box like that below:
Linking Method
- Link By Pipe Networks
Allows the user to match laterals and main line pipes by pipe networks. This method will analyze all pipes in the pipe networks and link the lateral files selected within the tolerance value. If no pipes are linked, increase the tolerance value to a larger value.
- Link By Multi Selection
Allows the user to link specific pipes. The program will prompt to select lateral pipes and main line pipes to analyze. This method is useful when new laterals and main line pipes have been added or if not all of the pipe networks need to be used.
- Tolerance
The linking occurs based on laterals ending exactly on the centerline of the main line pipe. To provide a tolerance value for misplaced ends of laterals value may be set to account for this possible error.
Lateral Parameters
These options determine how the lateral is linked to the main pipe object.
- Lateral Match Point
Determines how the lateral adjusts to the main pipe object. The options are Top, Center or Invert.
- Lateral Rules
When Apply Lateral Rules to Lateral Pipes is selected, the lateral pipe will be adjusted based on the rules specified.
- Minimum Grade
Sets the minimum grade of the lateral pipe from the main pipe.
- Maximum Grade
Sets the maximum grade of the lateral pipe from the main pipe.
- Minimum Cover
The mimimum cover of the pipe at the opposite end of the lateral pipe from the main pipe. The end of the pipe is set at the minimum cover elevation.
- Maximum Cover
The maximum cover of the pipe at the opposite end of the lateral pipe from the main line pipe. If the maximum cover is exceeded and and the maximum grade is met, the lateral pipe will be moved up to provide the maximum cover the pipe. The lateral pipe will then have a drop condition at the main line pipe.
- Use Minimum Cover
The minimum cover of the pipe at the opposite end of the lateral pipe from the main line pipe will be used to control the grade of the pipe.
- Use Minimum Grade
The minimum grade of the laterals rules will be used to control the grade of the pipe.

DL3LineProf
Creates linked PVIs from one Profile to one or two other Profiles; particularly useful for creating linked center, left, and right profiles for Three-Line Profiles.
DLCoordConvert
Allows User Defined Properties on Cogo Points to be automatically populated with coordinates in alternate Coordinate Systems.
DLEnabled
Enables or disables the automatic updating of Dynamic Links for a drawing.
DLProfiles
Manages dynamic links between Profile PVIs and other Civil-3D entities. This allows the elevations of PVIs to change dynamically whenever the "master" object changes. The "master" object may be a Surface, another Profile, or an adjacent PVI on the same Profile.
DLRefresh
Refreshes all Dynamic Links in the drawing that are known to be out-of-date.
DLRefreshAll
Refreshes all Dynamic Links in the drawing.
DLRefreshItems
Refreshes all Dynamic Links attached to selected objects.
