Description

The DLRefresh command refreshes all dynamic links in the drawing that are currently known to be out-of-date.

Usage

Type DLRefresh at the command line.

When a drawing contains a lot of Dynamic Links, especially lots of links attached to one item, it may be desirable to disable automatic updating of Dynamic links using the DLEnabled command. When automatic updating is disabled, linked items are still tracked. The DLRefresh command will update all links flagged as being out-of-date. It does not update all links; to force a global update of all links, use the DLRefreshAll command.

DLPoints

Manages dynamic links between Cogo Points and other Civil-3D entities. This allows the elevations of Cogo Points to change dynamically whenever the "master" object changes. The "master" object may be a Surface, a Profile, an Alignment, or a linear entity such as a Feature Line, Survey Figure, Polyline, or 3D-Polyline.

DLProfiles

Manages dynamic links between Profile PVIs and other Civil-3D entities. This allows the elevations of PVIs to change dynamically whenever the "master" object changes. The "master" object may be a Surface, another Profile, or an adjacent PVI on the same Profile.

DLRefreshAll

Refreshes all Dynamic Links in the drawing.

DLRefreshItems

Refreshes all Dynamic Links attached to selected objects.
